I have to say Stefan, yours is the "Trailblazer" to start off currently and in a modern time. Everyone is different at experiencing and understanding getting here; to immigrate and be a productive working citizen in the country of Sweden. Your videos in this course to know and watch are "spot on" to tell us first hand from your experience and for your case; in example at what you experienced, is nothing short of people working together to make sure you are here and assimilating ( live, speak and work ) into Swedish society. "Mycket bra för dig!". I feel passionate and proud for you at what you are trying to convey to other people ( like myself, I have my Swedish permanent residency ); to communicate and understand the process of what is it like to live and work in Sweden. I actually reside in Örnsköldsvik, 550 Km.'s north along the coast from Stockholm. I occasionally do make it into Stockholm by car or rail train to visit family, a few US and SE friends that I have met through my wife, Gunilla and "InterNations" in Stockholm, SE. at events hosted there. Great to know you are involved to discuss with others, who care to be involved and connected with you makes the transition easier. Glad to see your outside enjoying and videoing this "Fantastiskt väder närvarande för sommaren 2018". really enjoyable video, you explained things clearly. On the visas though how long till you can apply for permanent residency? Can I use my US drivers license as an ID there? also can I use it if I need to rent an auto?

My wife is from Sweden, myself from Spain. We both came to the U.S. and married/divorced American citizens. We both are American citizens as well. This is the best information you will find about the basics of moving to Sweden. I personally struggled with the immigration services. In Sweden, you can't hire an immigration attorney like in the U.S. I watched all the YouTube videos and the information is good. Keep it up!
